Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Travel / Temp-to-Hire)
Location: Hyannis MA
Duration: 26 Weeks 40 hrs/week Day/Evening Shift
Schedule: Every Other Weekend Rotating Holidays
Job Summary
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in medication preparation distribution and pharmacy operations in a fast-paced inpatient and/or community setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare package label and deliver medications (including controlled substances as applicable)
- Manage inventory process orders returns and stock medications
- Perform billing documentation and administrative tasks
- Enter medication orders (MAR) and assist with reconciliation
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Provide customer service and support pharmacy operations
- Assist with sterile compounding/chemotherapy (if certified)
- Train/orient staff and support retail pharmacy functions if needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year recent experience (3 years or certification preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Certifications
- Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician Registration (Required)
- PTCB Certification (Preferred/Required based on experience)
