Responsibilities
- Responsible for the following with supervisory oversight:
- Responsible for general and routine maintenance including: light electrical
refrigeration and HVAC etc. - Responsible for staging and loading all non-bulk shipments.
- Fabricate components from blueprints
- Machinery assembly and disassembly
- Preventative Maintenance (PMs) and repairs
- GMP Compliance
- Ability to perform maintenance on Refrigeration.
- Load/unload trucks trailers and containers (not including bulk tankers).
- Must be able to follow all safety requirements.
- May be responsible for assisting with the installation of equipment.
- Work with other departments such as but not limited to; Quality Control Production Inventory Customer Service Purchasing and R&D.
- May need to be available to be on-call.
Qualifications
- Education
- High School degree with minimal 1-2 years of related experience
- Knowledge of warehousing operations is essential.
- Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling or support equipment used in warehousing.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve.
- Time management skills.
- Basic Technical skills including: machine repair piping machine rigging HVAC etc.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
- Qualified with Lockout-Tagout Confined Space Hot-Work Procedures and PPE (Personal
Protective Equipment).
