Facilities Technician

Hennessy Research Associates - a Kemin company is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to support two active locations and an offsite this role youll transport raw materials handle routine facility upkeep and take on handson maintenance. Were looking for someone committed curious and resourceful with strong communication skills for coordinating with thirdparty partners and documenting work clearly. • Responsible for the following with supervisory oversight:
• Responsible for general and routine maintenance including: light electrical
  refrigeration and HVAC etc.
• Responsible for staging and loading all non-bulk shipments.
• Fabricate components from blueprints
• Machinery assembly and disassembly
• Preventative Maintenance (PMs) and repairs
• GMP Compliance
• Ability to perform maintenance on Refrigeration.
• Load/unload trucks trailers and containers (not including bulk tankers).
• Must be able to follow all safety requirements.
• May be responsible for assisting with the installation of equipment.
• Work with other departments such as but not limited to; Quality Control Production Inventory Customer Service Purchasing and R&D.
• May need to be available to be on-call.

• Education
  • High School degree with minimal 1-2 years of related experience
• Knowledge of warehousing operations is essential.
• Ability to operate a forklift and other material handling or support equipment used in warehousing.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Time management skills.
• Basic Technical skills including: machine repair piping machine rigging HVAC etc.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals.
• Qualified with Lockout-Tagout Confined Space Hot-Work Procedures and PPE (Personal
  Protective Equipment).
