    The Akron Board of Education announces an anticipated opening for an English Language Arts TeacherHigh School7-12 Job Code 006 TS 380 (190 Days). Starting Salary $48967.10. Collective Bargaining Unit ï½ AEA. This is a State Teachers Retirement System position.

    Position Description:

    • This is a second reminder that your FBI background check expires in the month of May.
    • Per Ohio Revised Code school employees must renew their background check every five (5) years and CCAA van drivers every six (6) years. You are required to complete your FBI background no later than noon on Thursday April 30 2026.
