Junior C# Developer

Bellville South (Hybrid - 2 days a week in office - stunning work environment)

The position reports to the BI Tech Lead

This role sits within a Technical Innovation / Software Development team working alongside experienced engineers in an Agile environment. Youll get exposure across the full stack of deliveryfrom C# development to data integrations and reporting.

What Youll Be Doing

Youll be hands-on across multiple areas of development building both your technical depth and real-world experience:

Software Development

• Develop and maintain applications using C#

• Write clean maintainable production-quality code

• Fix bugs and contribute to system enhancements

• Participate in code reviews and team discussions

SQL & Data

• Write SQL queries stored procedures and views

• Support data validation and troubleshooting

• Assist in improving data quality and performance

Integrations & APIs

• Work with APIs and OData feeds

• Support system integrations and data flows

• Assist with testing and troubleshooting integrations

Power BI & Reporting

• Build and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports

• Prepare datasets and support data modelling

• Improve reporting automation and visibility

Agile Delivery

• Participate in sprint ceremonies

• Deliver tasks within sprint timelines

• Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders

Testing & Quality

• Perform unit and functional testing

• Assist with debugging and issue resolution

Documentation & Support

• Document technical solutions and system processes

• Support live systems and troubleshoot issues (with escalation where needed)

Growth & Learning

• Continuously develop your technical skills

• Build strong business and system understanding

What You Need

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Computer Science or a related field

Experience

• 13 years in a development environment

• Exposure to C# SQL Power BI APIs/OData
