Job Summary
I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Under the supervision of the Director of Admissions the Receptionist is responsible for maintaining a good relationship with the students parents faculty and staff members.
Status: Grade 2 Non- Exempt12A.
- 40 hours per week
- Usual Hours are 7:45 am-4:15 pm
- Reports to Director of Admissions
II. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Welcomes all visitors with care and maintains a welcoming front desk
- Welcomes prospective students
- Receives parents and visitors for appointments and maintains Guest log
- Monitors front door to ensure safety
- Answers phones and handles all calls as appropriate
- Organizes and maintains mailroom/workcenter and Lunchroom
- Maintains the main lobby and Holy Family Room
- Receives mail and/or deliveries from USPS UPS DHL and FedEx and distributes mail
III. REQUIRED EDUCATION KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Bilingual: Able to speak both English and Spanish
- Ability to communicate with kindness
- Able to answer telephones and greet visitors
- Ability to maintain confidentiality required
- Professional appearance and demeanor required
- Ability to work with others in a collaborative environment
- Ability to work cooperatively with others utilizing effective interpersonal communication skills
- Able to lift and move boxes and materials
- Must possess a strong desire to serve
- First Aid Certified
