JOB PURPOSE:

The Nordics Ice Cream Demand Planning Manager is the local E2E planning lead responsible for balancing Cash Cost and Service by providing accurate demand inputs and ensuring successful execution in market. This role oversees the full demand and supply planning ecosystem for the Nordics Ice Cream business leading the collaboration with Sales and Customer Experience functions for shortterm service delivery and driving continuous improvement of the S&OP / IBP process cross-functionally. The role leads the demand forecasting agenda and ensures strong alignment between commercial supply chain and finance teams. It plays a critical part in driving forecast accuracy optimizing inventory minimizing business waste and supporting strategic decisionmaking that enables efficient servicefocused growth.

This role is vital in ensuring that the company can meet customer demand efficiently while minimizing costs & cash and maximizing service levels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Forecast Management: Develop and maintain accurate short- medium- and long-term demand forecasts using machine learning models / AI driven forecasting tools market intelligence and cross-functional inputs.
• S&OP Leadership: Lead the demand planning component of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process ensuring alignment across commercial supply and finance functions.
• Collaboration: Partner with Sales Marketing Finance and Supply Chain teams to gather insights on promotions product launches and market trends. Lead the link to service provider teams for short term service as well as demand planning.
• Performance Monitoring: Track forecast accuracy and bias; implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecast reliability.
• Service and Inventory Optimization: Support inventory planning by balancing service levels working capital and supply constraints while minimizing business waste.
• Data & Systems: Leverage planning tools (e.g. Kinaxis) and analytics platforms to drive data-driven decisions.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering Business Economics Engineering or related field (Masters preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning and S&OP including demonstrated leadership skills.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in ERP machine learning tools and demand planning softwares
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced cross-functional environment.
• Languages: English is mandatory proficiency in Swedish or an additional Nordic language is considered a strong advantage.
