What youll be doing

Youll be delivering Communications systems training to Royal Navy trainees on Phase 2 and Phase 3 Weapons Engineering courses helping shape capable confident war fighters ready for the fleet.

You will:

• Deliver classroom and practical training on MMR (PRC163/167)radio systems
• Deliver BOWMANoperator and systems training
• Prepare and maintain lesson plans training aids and practical scenarios
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
• Ensure training aligns with RN standards safety and assurance requirements
• Support course reviews and continuous improvement activity
• Represent Capita professionally within a military training environment

What were looking for:

Essential:

• Practical experience with military tactical communications systems
• Experience with MMR PRC163 / PRC167
• Handson knowledge of BOWMAN(operator or instructorlevel)

Desirable:

• Experience instructing training or mentoring adults
• Royal Navy Army or Joint CIS background
• Previous defence contractor or training provider experience
• Strong preparation and presentation skills
• Ability to communicate confidently in a military environment

This role is offered on a term time basis working 45 weeks per year with non-working weeks taken 2 weeks at Christmas and Easter and 3 weeks in August. The salary will therefore be pro ratad and calculated to include contractual annual leave entitlement and bank holidays.
