For Ayvens Bank were looking into hiring a Head of Risk and Compliance.

• Objective of the role (Why)

The Head of Risk and Compliance oversees the second line of defence of the entity overseeing the management of all the risks to which entity is exposed or might be exposed and in particular non-compliance risks as well as Non-Financial (and IT) risks. They report hierarchically to Ayvens Bank CRO.

• Areas of responsibilities (What)

The Head of Risk and Compliance is managing a team of 4 FTE responsible for Risk Compliance and Privacy activities.

In coordination with the team the Managers responsibilities include:

• Lead the implementation of the Group Risk & Compliance framework across all risk domains as defined by Ayvens Group.
• Establish and maintain effective monitoring controls and surveillance to prevent and detect operational compliance privacy and reputational risks.
• Oversee risk and compliance assessments ensuring timely identification evaluation and escalation of incidents.
• Ensure proper treatment of Manage alerts related to AML sanctions terrorism financing market abuse and data privacy ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Develop and oversee the entitys risk appetite and ensure risks remain within approved thresholds.
• Partner with the first line of defense to maintain a strong risk profile drive mitigation actions and ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
• Lead the response to audits inspections remediation actions and regulatory reviews.
• Prepare and coordinate the Entity Risk Committee and quarterly reporting to the Management Board and Supervisory Board.
• Monitor regulatory developments evaluate their impact and ensure timely and effective compliance adaptation.
• Build lead and develop a highperforming Risk & Compliance team fostering expertise and ensuring strong succession planning.
• Promote a robust risk and compliance culture across the organization.
• Ensure the organizational setup meets regulatory standards while supporting operational efficiency.

• Competencies (How)
• Knowledge of compliance risk management applicable to banks
• Knowledge of non-financial risk management and regulatory frameworks.
• At least 3 years of managerial experience.
• Proven ability to engage with business teams while maintaining independent judgement.
• Ability to articulate clear positions defend them with conviction and explain their rationale.
• Strong capacity to foster collaboration teamwork and cross-functional alignment.
