Job Summary
The Numbering Associate accurately assigns numerical identifiers (like serial numbers part numbers or reference codes) to products documents or other items ensuring proper tracking and organization while adhering to established numbering systems and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Data entry: Entering product details including assigned numbers into company databases or spreadsheets with high accuracy.
Number generation: Following established numbering conventions to generate unique identifiers for new items.
Number verification: Checking for duplicate numbers missing information or inconsistencies in assigned numbers.
Number allocation: Assigning appropriate numbers to products based on product type category or other relevant criteria.
Number maintenance: Updating numbering systems as needed due to product changes new item introductions or system updates.
Recordkeeping: Maintaining accurate records of assigned numbers and related product information.
Quality control: Performing data checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
Perform other duties as assigned
