Enterprise Applications Engineer

As a member of the Enterprise Applications team within Corporate Engineering youll be responsible for planning designing implementing and maintaining company SaaS applications and tools. You will work to ensure that the enterprise SaaS technology architecture and governance align with strategic business initiatives company goals and the mission for self-service and efficiency.

You Will:

• Administer applications managing the installation configuration and upgrades of SaaS solutions in the enterprise applications and collaboration space (including Google Workspace Slack Okta Workday Confluence/Jira Zoom Glean Airtable and others).
• Independently own initiatives with minimal oversight efficiently translating overarching goals into tactical steps and detailed tasks while delivering results on medium-scale projects.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (HR Finance Security Legal) to assess business requirements evaluate possible solutions and develop scalable and reliable integrations.
• Implement SaaS system changes and administer access to systems and information within approved IT security policies guidelines and standards.
• Write scripts or workflows to assist in automating manual processes.
• Predict downstream impacts concerning performance reliability scalability and security mitigating unintended consequences and maintaining system integrity with secure design practices.
• Promote collaboration amongst peers provide guidance to junior colleagues on their projects anticipate questions about your systems and proactively help people outside of your team.
• Participate in system audits perform testing for disaster recovery or SOX controls and create sandbox/test environments for the evaluation of new technologies.
• Create and maintain standards procedures and documentation related to your areas of responsibility.
• Proactively refine methods to improve efficiency regularly iterating on solutions and soliciting relevant input to keep projects moving forward.
• Assist in recommending budget items and allocate resources following budget approval.

You Have:

• 4 years of experience in the IT space with 2 years of experience in the design development implementation and support of enterprise SaaS applications.
• Experience with the implementation and administration of SSO/SAML/IAM systems.
• Experience with API integration work.
• Experience with Active Directory.
• Proven experience managing cloud applications and platforms.

You Are:

• An excellent communicator (verbal and written) with both engineering and non-engineering audiences possessing a strong customer focus and problem-solving mentality.
• A self-starter with the ability to overcome obstacles and challenges with little to no supervision.
• Capable of juggling multiple responsibilities and prioritizing automation over manual processes.
• Able to find out-of-the-box solutions to best fit Robloxs needs combining self-initiated problem-solving with collaborative refinement.
• A strategic thinker who can critically evaluate information from a variety of sources identify knowledge gaps and integrate feedback from senior team members to refine and enhance project outcomes.
• Experience with HRIS systems specifically Workday. (preferred)
• Experience with programming/scripting languages (Python Bash Go etc.) and CLI tools. (preferred)
• Experience with Terraform for configuration management. (preferred)
• Experience with Okta Workflows. (preferred)
