Production operative

Job Title: Production Operator (Signage)
Location: West Drayton

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Production Operator to join a fast-paced signage manufacturing environment. You will be part of an experienced team delivering a wide range of signage solutions supporting projects from production through to final delivery and installation preparation.

The role involves working across multiple production processes including print fabrication and finishing producing high-quality signage for commercial retail and property sectors.

You will be expected to maintain high standards of workmanship in line with a quality-driven production environment contributing to projects of varying scale and complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate signage production machinery (e.g. large format printers vinyl cutters laminators CNC or fabrication equipment)
• Manufacture a wide range of signage including:
  • Large format print and vinyl graphics
  • Corporate branding and marketing signage
  • Wayfinding and estate signage
  • Banners hoardings and display graphics
• Assist with fabrication assembly and finishing of signage components
• Prepare signage for installation teams ensuring accuracy and quality
• Work from job specifications drawings and briefs to meet client requirements
• Maintain high quality standards across all production output
• Follow all health & safety procedures and workshop practices
• Support continuous improvement and efficient workflow within the production team

Requirements:

• Previous experience in signage production is essential
• Strong experience using production machinery and tools
• Good understanding of materials (vinyl acrylic aluminium etc.) and fabrication methods
• Ability to work from drawings/specs and follow detailed instructions
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Team player with a proactive and flexible approach

Working Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• 1-hour lunch break

Salary & Benefits:

• 30000 35000 per year (depending on experience)
• Overtime paid at 1.5x standard hourly rate
