Schedule: Night Shift 3x12 Hours (07:00 PM 07:00 AM)
Weekly Hours: 36 Hours

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced and dedicated Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse to join a high-acuity acute care environment. The RN will deliver comprehensive patient care including cardiac monitoring medication administration and rapid response intervention while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to abnormalities
• Administer medications and perform IV therapy/phlebotomy
• Manage oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway support
• Participate in Rapid Response and Code Team events
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
• Adhere to infection control and isolation protocols
• Float to other units within scope of practice as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience
• Recent acute care experience within the past 6 months
• Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and emergency response

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher

Licensure & Certifications

• Active New York State RN License (Required)
• BLS Certification (AHA) Required
• NIHSS Certification Required (if available)
