Job Summary:
The Structural Engineer EI teams up with other engineers to work on a wide variety of projects throughout the northwest in a range of markets including retail commercial and education municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects transportation and bridge structures and wastewater and water treatment facility upgrades. This position works closely with other engineers engineer interns CAD technicians and other disciplines.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Detailing and design of steel concrete masonry and wood structures
Develop plans and specifications
Prepare Preliminary Engineering Reports
Provide support for project bidding and construction administration
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Bachelors degree in in civil engineering or related field with 2 years in structural engineering design
Working knowledge of common structural engineering software such as Excel and MathCAD programs EnerCalc RISA
Bidding and construction administration
Construction observation
Strong communication and personal skills
Project delivery
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field- 0-4 years of relevant professional experience
