Job Summary
The Inventory Controller is responsible for monitoring the status and location of stocks from inbound to dispatch. He/She must ensure that actual and system data are matched by conducting daily weekly monthly and yearly cycle counts regularly as prescribed by the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) agreed with the principal. The IC also monitors Damaged and Obsolete Slow-moving Items aging stocks and reports their status to the Principal with clearance from immediate superior. He/She directs the warehouse and replenishment team to ensure that picking for dispatch will run smoothly. He/She also prepares numerous reports pertaining to the monitoring and inventory of stocks in the warehouse.
