Senior Procurement Sourcing Specialist

Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Sourcing Specialist to take ownership of a complex high-spend software portfolio delivering impactful sourcing strategies and measurable cost savings.

Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned to business and procurement objectives ensuring optimal value across the ICT software category.
• They will lead end-to-end sourcing activities including RFI/RFP/RFQ processes supplier selection and complex contract negotiations with multinational vendors.
• This role requires conducting in-depth market analysis to identify trends cost drivers and opportunities while maintaining accurate demand forecasts and supplier profiles.
• The incumbent will build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across IT Finance Legal and business units ensuring alignment and effective delivery of sourcing initiatives.
• Key responsibilities also include monitoring supplier performance managing risk and compliance and ensuring all procurement activities adhere to best practices and internal policies.
• The role will further focus on delivering cost-saving initiatives tracking procurement performance and contributing to the implementation of procurement operating models.
• In addition the candidate will mentor junior team members demonstrate strong leadership and continuously stay informed on industry trends and best practices within ICT software procurement.

Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Procurement IT or a related field with a CIPS qualification (MCIPS or Advanced Programme) being advantageous.
• They will bring 57 years of procurement experience including at least 34 years in ICT software sourcing at a senior level.
• They will possess strong strategic sourcing expertise advanced analytical skills and a proven track record in complex contract negotiations and delivering significant cost savings.
• Excellent stakeholder management communication and negotiation skills are essential along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
