Job Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: Falmouth MA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift (Flexible start times)
Schedule: 40 hours/week (8-hour shifts)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic and screening mammography procedures. This role requires expertise in imaging patient care and compliance with regulatory standards while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities:
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography and stereotactic procedures
- Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper calibration and functionality
- Conduct DEXA (bone density) scans as required
- Ensure compliance with MQSA and American College of Radiology (ACR) standards
- Perform routine quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) checks
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure availability of necessary supplies
- Review physician orders prior imaging and patient history for accuracy
- Educate patients on procedures and ensure understanding of the process
- Maintain patient safety comfort and confidentiality during procedures
- Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain PACS records
- Coordinate workflow to ensure efficiency and timely completion of exams
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions and ensure timely resolution
- Maintain inventory and manage supplies for imaging and DEXA operations
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist) required
- Active state license in Radiology and Mammography required
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience in 3D Mammography (Digital Breast Tomosynthesis) required
- Strong knowledge of MQSA and ACR standards
- Experience performing DEXA scans preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
