Job Summary
For Linklaters Global Solutions Warsaw we are currently recruiting for the PMO Services Manager role.
Your role
We are looking for a PMO Services Manager to join Linklaters Global Solutions (LGS) as part of our Business Change team.
You will be responsible for managing the delivery of PMO services to support the firms project portfolio and leading a high-performing PMO team. This will include ensuring alignment to standard processes application of best practice tools and templates management reporting assurance and facilitating portfolio governance.
You will work closely with the Head of Portfolio and Programme Management Programme Leads Project and Programme Managers other PMO professionals Finance Technology & Data and wider key senior management stakeholders.
As a PMO Services Manager you will:
Establish and mature our shared services PMO model defining services key performance indicators (KPIs) and supporting processes and operating procedures.
Support the evaluation classification and prioritisation of new project demand.
Develop and manage portfolio-level documentation for example portfolio delivery plans resource plans benefits plans and risk and issue logs.
Facilitate portfolio governance meetings and manage the project portfolio budget.
Enable effective information management and knowledge management practises. Ensure that portfolio records and underlying project delivery information is accessible and well-organised and facilitate knowledge-sharing.
Assure delivery of the project portfolio against our project delivery framework and other recognised industry good practice providing guidance to project delivery teams.
Identify opportunities and oversee delivery of ad-hoc analysis as required for example relating to project portfolio performance and in support of other Linklaters business processes (e.g. business planning financial year-end).
Drive continuous improvement of our PMO services and project delivery practises ensuring that these are successfully embedded within the team.
Manage a high-performing PMO team supporting resource assignment and developing plans to meeting team and individual development needs.
In addition the role-holder will be expected to play a leading role in our community of PMO professionals and help drive the broader development of our PMO capabilities in the firm.
Your experience
Five or more years experience working in a portfolio PMO role and managing a team coupled with broader experience in related project portfolio or programme PMO roles.
Previous experience of working in legal services or professional services environment and specifically in a shared services PMO organisation would be advantageous.
Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite including Word Excel PowerPoint ideally with experience using dedicated project portfolio management project or task management tools.
A recognised PMO or project management qualification (e.g. P3O certification PRINCE 2 Practitioner or APM equivalent) and evidence of continuing professional development.
Excellent attention to detail. Confident with numbers the analysis of data and financial management information.
Able to communicate effectively at all levels - clearly and succinctly conveying ideas and options.
Embraces accountability and sets an example to others; proactive and action-oriented driving continuous improvement to ways of working.
Inclusive aware of the needs of and supportive of all team members.
