We are looking for a proactive and collaborative Java/Kotlin Developer who enjoys working in cross-functional teams and contributing to modern digital platforms. You are someone who takes ownership communicates openly and is motivated to continuously improve both products and processes.
You thrive in an agile environment enjoy solving complex problems and are passionate about building scalable backend solutions that deliver real business value.
Requirements
- Solid experience with Java and/or Kotlin
- Experience working with Spring Boot and modern backend architectures
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with REST APIs and event-driven systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and cloud environments
- Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL)
- Experience working in agile teams (Scrum/Kanban)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a structured way of thinking
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Fluency in English and German
What you will do
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java/Kotlin
- Design and implement scalable and secure microservices
- Collaborate closely with product owners designers and other engineers
- Contribute to architecture decisions and technical improvements
- Ensure code quality through testing code reviews and best practices
- Work on CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Continuously optimize system performance and reliability
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies and team discussions
