• Travel: Up to $2512/week
• Local: Up to $2212/week

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with Nurse Practitioner (NP) certification to provide comprehensive healthcare services within a secure correctional facility. This role involves advanced clinical assessments diagnosis treatment planning and collaboration with physicians to deliver high-quality patient care in a structured environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and clinical assessments
• Diagnose medical conditions and develop treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Accurately document patient evaluations care plans and outcomes
• Prescribe medications and recommend appropriate therapies
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations
• Deliver patient-centered care while maintaining safety and security standards

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Nurse Practitioner (NP) Certification
• Ability to diagnose treat and prescribe within scope of practice
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a correctional healthcare setting
