Schedule: Day/Evening Shifts 5x8 Hours
Shift Timing: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM / 11:00 AM 7:00 PM (varied shifts)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support surgical procedures in a high-acuity operating room environment. The CST will assist surgeons and the surgical team by ensuring proper preparation instrumentation and sterile field maintenance throughout procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments equipment and sterile supplies
• Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterile technique
• Anticipate surgical team needs to ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain and monitor sterile field throughout procedures
• Perform surgical counts and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Handle specimens according to policy and procedure
• Clean and restock operating rooms following procedures
• Collaborate with nurses surgeons and anesthesia staff to ensure optimal patient care

Requirements:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center
• Strong experience in multiple specialties including trauma orthopedics general surgery ENT vascular and GYN
• Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure surgical environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Additional Information:

• Schedule may include a mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts (day/evening variations)
• Shift timings may include: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM 11:00 AM 7:30 PM 3:00 PM 11:30 PM 7:00 AM 7:30 PM and 11:00 AM 11:30 PM
• Must be flexible with scheduling based on department needs
