We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Medical Unit at a leading healthcare facility. The RN will provide comprehensive patient care in an acute care setting ensuring high standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.
Responsibilities:
Provide patient care using the nursing process (assessment planning implementation evaluation)
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in a timely manner
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using EMR systems
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Ensure adherence to infection control safety and hospital policies
Requirements:
Active RN license (state-specific or compact)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
NIHSS (Stroke Scale Certification) required
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a similar-sized acute care facility
Epic EMR experience required
Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts
Maximum 7 days of RTO (Requested Time Off) allowed
Patient Ratio:
1:5 to 1:6
