Survey Team Leader

We are growing our Survey team in Kansas City and looking for a Team Leader to help lead whats next.

This role is for someone who is already leading in some capacity - running crews guiding field work helping solve problems - and is ready to take a bigger step. Not just doing the work but helping shape how its delivered and how the team grows.

What youll be doing:

Youll play a key role in delivering survey work from field to finish supporting crews staying close to projects and helping ensure things run smoothly across the board.

Along the way youll:

• Lead and support survey crews in the field and office

• Stay close to project performance (scope schedule budget)

• Work alongside engineers and clients to keep projects moving

• Help mentor and develop team members

• Contribute to how the team operates and grows in Kansas City

• Be involved in a mix of field work coordination and problem-solving

• Experience leading survey crews or coordinating field work

• A few years of experience in land surveying (crew chief party chief or similar)

• PLS is a plus but not required - well support you if its a goal

• Comfort working across field and office environments

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• A sense of ownership: you care about the work your team and doing things the right way
