Technical Service Specialist - Ford (Craiova)

Our Mobility team is currently looking for a Technical Service Specialist to work from the Fords plant located in Craiova Romania.

He/she will be responsible for the execution and monitoring of the correct adjustment and application of Axalta products integrating a team of 5 people from Axalta working in the plant.

Key Responsibilities / Main Activities

  • Act as first point of contact on all technical items for the plant.

  • Provide technical direction and assistance to Axalta / Customer regarding the use of Axaltas products

  • Provide input for best possible application and process set ups for the use of Axaltas products

  • Respond to questions and concerns from Axalta / Customer regarding products and/or process issues

  • Analyze product data to provide Axalta / Customer with quality improvement proposals

  • Work closely with Axalta / Customer technical and manufacturing teams to support product quality

  • Analysis of product defects and identification of root causes

  • Documentation of quality incidents

  • Prepare accurate and timely technical reports

  • Represent Axalta in technical customer meetings

  • Prepare data related to correct demand planning (customer forecast consumption stock level in the customer site etc.)

  • Respect and enforce safety instructions in the site

Skills & qualifications

  • Knowledge of Axaltas products and application methods

  • Knowledge of key measurement systems

  • Experience of problem solving and root cause analysis

  • Knowledge of Environment Health and Safety regulations

  • Good communication skills written and verbal across all levels of the customer organization

  • Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work in a Team

  • Fluency in English is mandatory
