Local Rate: $2962.5 per week

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingRN Nurse Educator for an exciting Travel or Local job inBrooklyn NY.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver evidence-based educational programs for nursing staff on L&D protocols including labor management delivery techniques and postpartum care.
• Conduct hands-on training simulations and competency assessments for NICU procedures such as neonatal resuscitation and high-risk infant stabilization.
• Assess staff knowledge gaps in MCH units and create targeted in-services workshops and orientation sessions to improve clinical skills and patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with MCH leadership to update policies integrate best practices and ensure compliance with NY State RN standards and AHA BLS guidelines.
• Mentor new and experienced nurses on family-centered care in postpartum and pediatric settings emphasizing safety infection control and multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through pre/post-testing feedback surveys and performance metrics then refine curricula to support continuous quality improvement.

Key Requirements:

• Associate Degree (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
• Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification from NYSED required)
• AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience (required)
• Strong skills in L&D with ability to support education in labor/delivery NICU and postpartum

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters in Education
