Job purpose

Responsible for managing administrative processes and procedures in the purchasing area.

Location

Viana do Castelo plant Portugal

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managethe procedure for updating supplier prices in SAP.

• Manageandsolvesupplier invoice issues.

• Prepareandprovideappropriate reportson key performance indicators (KPIs) under your responsibility.

• Maintain/updatesupplier data in SAP and EASL (Enterprise Approved Source List).

• Ensureaccurateinformationregardingdocumentation for creating new suppliers.

• CreatePurchase Requisitions (PRs) when necessary.

• Assistwith daily purchasing routines.

• Promote efficient and open communication within the department and with other departments of the organization.

• Ensure respect for and compliance with workplace safety and cleanliness standards.

• Continuously ensure the improvement of health safety and environmental conditions.

• Participate in the definition implementation and maintenance of organizational policies.

• Activelyparticipatein the continuous improvement of the Environmental Management Health and Safety at Work Policy.

• Efficiently use different energy sources adopting practices that promote reduced energy consumption and responsible resource usein accordance withthe SGE Policy.

• Perform other tasks not included in the activity for which you were hired when service needs or convenience justify it for theperiod of timenecessary for said service needs or conveniences.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor Degree in related field

• Masters degree preferred

• Engineering training will be valued

• Relevant experience in the field will be valued

• Relevant negotiation experience will be valued.

• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel PowerPoint Word)

• Good English skills
