Field Service Engineer
Location: Republic of Ireland
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: 39400 Euros basic plus over time and travel allowance

Theyre looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their team in the Republic of Ireland. Position Overview
As a Field Service Engineer youll play a key role in delivering first-class security solutions to a broad client base in the vehicle industry. Youll install and maintain CCTV systems and driver aid technology on buses coaches and rail vehicles responding to daily fault requests and performing planned preventative maintenance. Your work directly impacts customer safety and satisfaction whilst supporting the wider team through training and clear communication between field operations and management.
Responsibilities
Install CCTV systems and driver aid equipment on vehicles ensuring quality and compliance
Respond to daily fault requests and conduct troubleshooting to resolve technical issues
Perform planned preventative maintenance duties to keep systems operating effectively
Conduct in-service activities including installation and fault rectification for existing clients
Support and mentor other Field Service Engineers sharing knowledge and best practice
Maintain clear communication with regional management and customers throughout projects
Enhance the companys reputation through professional service delivery and customer engagement
Requirements
Essential:
Experience in CCTV auto electricals or electronics
Full UK driving licence with relevant driving experience
Strong communication skills to understand and translate customer requirements
Basic IT competency and technical problem-solving ability
Flexible approach with a can do attitude and hands-on technical mindset
Desirable:
Strong knowledge of DVRs and related components
Electrical qualification (NVQ BTEC or apprenticeship training)
Five GCSEs or equivalent preferably in English Maths or Science
Knowledge of the bus industry or vehicle technology background
Experience in hands-on technical engineering environments
