Schedule: Day Shift 5x8 Hours (08:00 AM 05:00 PM)
Weekly Hours: 40 Hours
Assignment Duration: 26 Weeks (Temp-to-Perm)

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Navigator RN to join a leading outpatient cancer care this role you will guide patients throughout their oncology treatment journey ensuring coordinated care clear communication and a supportive patient experience. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for professionals passionate about oncology care and patient advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage comprehensive oncology patient care plans
• Educate and guide patients through diagnosis treatment and recovery
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize outcomes
• Monitor patient progress and proactively address barriers to care
• Provide symptom management and ongoing patient support
• Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems (EPIC)
• Assist in managing oncologic emergencies and treatment-related complications

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Oncology RN experience
• Hands-on experience with chemotherapy administration and monitoring
• Strong understanding of oncology care coordination
• Ability to balance both clinical and administrative responsibilities

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (required)

Licensure & Certifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License California
• BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification Required

Additional Experience & Skills

• Experience as an Oncology Nurse Navigator or in a similar oncology-focused role
• Proficiency in IV therapy infusions and central line care
• Knowledge of oncologic emergencies (e.g. sepsis tumor lysis syndrome)
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred
