JOB DESCRIPTION:

As part of International Accounting shared service organization you will report to the Accounting Manager and work closely with other members of the team based in Europe and Latin America on a day-to-day basis.

The successful candidate will carry out tasks in the following areas:

Month end close:

• Deliver month end close workings and journals under US GAAP and Local GAAP

• Provide monthly variance analysis and report any identified issues

• Monitor accruals vs costs allocation contracts terms etc.

• Manage Intercompany invoices I/C reconciliations and settlements

• Prepare Balance sheet Account Reconciliations in line with Sabre Policy

• Support preparation and submission of VAT returns; reconciliation and clearing VAT accounts

• Support calculations of Corporation tax

• Work with other Sabre groups including Tax Treasury Payroll Legal Procurement Accounts Payable and FP&A

• Close collaboration with third- party accounting provider in charge of keeping local books

Compliance and Statutory reporting:

• Support statutory audits

• Provide analysis and clarity on statutory adjustments

• Close collaboration with external auditors.

• Support SOX and US GAAP audits

• Adhere to SOX and Internal Controls requirements

• Adhere to all Sabre Policies

Other Tasks:

• Support global and local project

• Tool and process enhancement

Required Competencies:

• Fluent in English

• Knowledge of Spanish

• Degree in Accounting or Finance

• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience

• Excel to intermediate standard

• Team player

• Communication skills

• Performs work conscientiously and diligently

Desired Competencies:

• Knowledge of SAP

• US GAAP
