Senior Frontend Developer (Angular)

My client is looking for a Senior Frontend Developer who wants to stay close to the code while playing a meaningful role in how frontend engineering is done.

This is not a pure delivery role. Youll be a senior technical partner to the Frontend Lead combining daytoday feature delivery with architectural influence mentorship and ownership of frontend standards. Youll work on a modern Angular platform used in production at scale helping evolve its architecture performance and developer experience.

Youll collaborate closely with backend engineers product and design contribute to design systems shape state management approaches and help define how testing accessibility and performance are handled across applications. The environment values strong opinions thoughtful debate and pragmatic engineering decisions.

Skills & Experience:
Significant professional experience building and maintaining production Angular applications
Strong knowledge of modern Angular features and patterns
Experience working with Nx monorepos
Deep understanding of frontend architecture and state management
Experience contributing to or building design systems
Strong focus on performance optimisation and accessibility
Handson experience testing Angular applications (unit integration E2E)
Comfortable acting as a senior technical voice while remaining deliveryfocused

Qualification:
Relevant software engineering experience preferred
Formal qualifications beneficial but not essential
