- Patient Load: 1112 patients per day
- Patient Population: Orthopedic Neurological and Geriatric
Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to support therapists in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on patient support and contributing to patient recovery and mobility improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists with patient care and treatment activities
- Prepare treatment areas equipment and therapy materials
- Support patients with exercises and mobility under supervision
- Monitor and report patient progress to therapists
- Clean and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas
- Assist with patient transport within the facility
- Ensure a safe and supportive patient environment
- Support administrative tasks including scheduling and documentation
- Follow clinic policies and safety protocols
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a PT Aide or in a rehabilitation setting preferred
- Experience with orthopedic neurological or geriatric patients is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient environment
- Basic understanding of physical therapy practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision
- Reliable organized and team-oriented
