Position Summary
The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the credit unions information technology infrastructure including both cloud-based and on-premises systems. This role leads and manages a team of IT professionals and partners closely with business units to ensure the security availability and reliability of all IT systems. The IT Manager develops and implements IT policies procedures and best practices and ensures technology operations support organizational goals while meeting security and regulatory requirements.

Develop implement and maintain IT policies procedures and best practices to ensure the security availability and reliability of IT infrastructure.
Plan coordinate and oversee the implementation of new IT projects system upgrades and technology initiatives.
Assist in the development and administration of the IT department budget including planning for hardware software licensing and maintenance contracts.
Evaluate existing IT systems and infrastructure to identify risks inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
Monitor system performance and reliability and recommend enhancements or upgrades to support operational and business needs.
Stay current with emerging technologies industry trends and best practices and recommend appropriate technology solutions for the credit union.

Skill in vendor management including negotiating contracts managing thirdparty relationships and ensuring vendor performance aligns with organizational requirements.
Skilled in operating computer equipment and general office machines such as personal computers copiers projection equipment audio/video Microsoft Teams Zoom Video Communications and adding devices.
