A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Develop and execute integrated marketing plans tailored for Central and South Africa to support product launches market development and portfolio growth
• Collaborate with global regional and local marketing sales and clinical teams to ensure messaging alignment across the region
• Identify regional market trends customer insights and competitive dynamics to inform strategy and tactical plans
• Create and manage marketing collateral sales tools digital content and educational materials highlighting the value of capital equipment such as StealthStation(Medtronics advanced surgical navigation system that enhances precision in ENT cranial and spinal procedures) O-arm NIM Vital Visualase Midas Rex etc.
• Support the development of customer-facing presentations case studies and testimonials
• Participate in cross-functional launch teams to ensure successful commercialization of new products and features
• Gather and analyze regional market intelligence providing regular reports and insights to leadership and stakeholders
• Ensure all marketing materials and activities comply with regulatory requirements and Medtronics quality standards

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Masters degree in Marketing Business Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of seven (7) years experience working with capital equiment preferably in medical devices healthcare or life sciences
• Strong communication organizational and project management skills
• Ability to thrive in a matrixed cross-functional and multicultural environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital marketing tools

Experience with surgical or enabling technologies in neurosurgery ENT or orthopedic surgery an advanced degree in business engineering or healthcare-related discipline familiarity with industry regulations and compliance messaging and experience in a regional marketing role are desirable and will be considered an advantage.
