The Global Collections Operations Team is a high-precision unit based in Dublin driving the end-to-end production lifecycle of negative balance accounts worldwide. We balance rigorous data integrity with automated processes to ensure every file payment and account update is completed flawlessly. By maintaining operational excellence we protect the eBay brand and provide a fair accurate and seamless experience for our global community.
Operating in a fast-paced team-oriented environment this position reports to the Operations Manager in Dublin. You will be responsible for the flawless execution of all daily production items internal financial tracking and quality assurance reviews for the eBay Marketplaces Global Collections Unit.
What you will accomplish...
Production & Reconciliation: Complete daily distribution of global vendor files process collection restrictions and generate outbound communications.
Vendor & Internal Financials: Manage the internal purchase order (PO) processincluding approval funding and monitoringand reconcile all monthly global vendor invoices and payments.
Access & Inventory Management: Lead all aspects of vendor access (on-boarding permissions and off-boarding) handle inventory flow through the collections lifecycle and serve as the liaison for internal business partners regarding agency inquiries.
Quality & Compliance: Conduct QA reviews on collection processes document findings for management maintain procedure manuals and ensure strict adherence to global policies.
Continuous Improvement: Find opportunities to harness product improvements and automation to strengthen operational controls and guarantee the seamless delivery of our collections treatment.
What you will bring...
The ideal candidate is a quick learner who thrives under pressure and has a vision for process improvement. You must demonstrate the ability to follow existing procedures while simultaneously looking for ways to refine them for future needs.
Experience: 3 years in a production-based environment (Collections experience preferred).
Technical Savvy: Skilled in all MS Office tools (Excel Word PowerPoint); experience working with remote groups is essential.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills demonstrating skill in effectively planning and coordinating business needs.
Agility: Ability to work effectively amid tight deadlines and deliver on time. You must be flexible with your schedule as production delivery determines business needs including periodic on-call/off-hours duties.
Customer Focus: A strong understanding of operational realities paired with an outstanding dedication to the customer experience.
