ROLE OVERVIEW
The role entails working on various mobility-related projects in the Global Mobility team within the Human Capital Management (HCM) division as well as managing domestic and international assignments and relocations for specific divisions of the firm. The role involves strategic projects across a broad range of mobility topics responsibility for the counselling / co-ordination of relocating employees and advising managers and HR colleagues on complex mobility issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Advise divisional managers and / or HR colleagues on mobilitymatters
- Partner with the businesses and stakeholders to determine appropriate mobility package andnavigate complex mobility challenges including immigration tax and relocation issues
- Working with internal tax teams and external vendors on a variety of international tax and social security matters (e.g. dual contracts shadow payroll cross-border social security considerations etc.)
- Working with internal immigration teams and external vendors on a variety of immigration related matters (e.g. new visas issuances and current visas amendments visa eligibility assessment move impact on current visas)
- Relocation and assignment cost estimate generation
- Support businesses with reporting and budgeting needs
- Day to day case management of relocations and expatriateassignments includes:
- Counselling transferring and repatriating employees on all aspects oftheir expatriatebenefits
- Generating and reviewing assignmentdocumentation
- Management of queries and exception requests including responding to employees/managers directly forwarding to vendors and escalating queries as appropriate
- Review relo payment instructions
- Dealing with ad hocqueries
- Generate and review periodic and ad hocreporting
- Interaction with vendors providing a range of mobility-related services
- Project worke.g.:
- Relocation policy and processreviews
- Vendor reviews and governance
- Mobility initiatives
- 2 years of experience in a mobility relatedfield
- International / expatriate tax knowledgepreferred
- Immigration knowledge preferred
- Excellent client service and relationship buildingskills
- Ability to analyze data and make sound judgments based on firm policies/standards while maintaining compliance
- Ability to appropriately manage confidential and sensitive information
- Strong team player with a willingness to learn and be a part of a global team operating across various time zones
- Flexibility to work independently and across multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong analytical skills and highlydetail-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communicationsskills
- Technical Skills: Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel Word& PowerPoint). Particularly strong Excelknowledge.
- Experience with AI including Copilot and LLMs preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in relevant field(analytical or a related field in HR preferred)
