Job Description

The Storage Administrator is a key member of the infrastructure team responsible for the day-to-day operation monitoring and troubleshooting of enterprise-grade storage and backup solutions. This role is designed for a developing professional who possesses a solid foundation in SAN/NAS technologies and is eager to scale their expertise in a high-performance environment. You will work closely with Senior Engineers to provision storage ensure data integrity and manage the lifecycle of multi-vendor storage arrays and backup libraries.

Responsibilities

Perform routine storage provisioning (LUN creation masking zoning) and filesystem management (exports/shares).
Conduct daily health checks across storage arrays and backup environments to identify and remediate potential hardware or performance issues.
Function as the first point of contact for storage-related performance bottlenecks connectivity issues and backup failures.
Monitor and manage scheduled backup jobs; assist with data restoration requests and tape library management.
Maintain accurate records of storage allocations rack diagrams and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Actively participate in vendor training and cross-training sessions to master new storage platforms and emerging data technologies.
