Location: Toronto ON (On-site 4 days per week)
Pay Rate: CAD $50/hour

Role Overview We are seeking a Project Planning & Scheduling Developer to support end-to-end project planning scheduling and performance tracking activities within a structured PMO environment. The role involves maintaining project schedules tracking financials monitoring performance metrics and supporting governance and reporting activities across multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop maintain and update detailed project schedules timelines and milestones
- Track task dependencies critical paths and schedule variances
- Support project managers in establishing baseline plans for scope schedule and cost
Cost & Financial Control
- Monitor project budgets forecasts and actual expenditures
- Track financial variances and support cost control and forecasting activities
- Assist with accruals financial reporting and funding requests
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Collect consolidate and analyze project performance data
- Produce status reports dashboards KPIs and risk/issue summaries
- Track progress against baseline using earned value or similar methodologies
Risk & Issue Management
- Maintain risk and issue logs
- Track mitigation actions and escalation items
- Ensure timely resolution of project risks and issues
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to organizational PMO standards and methodologies
- Support stage gates audits and governance reviews
- Maintain accurate and compliant project documentation
Change Control
- Track change requests and perform schedule/cost impact analysis
- Maintain change logs and coordinate approvals
- Assess impacts of scope changes on timelines and budgets
Stakeholder & PMO Support
- Act as liaison between PMO finance teams project managers and stakeholders
- Support portfolio-level reporting and PMO governance activities
- Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives
Tools & Systems
- Maintain project data in tools such as MS Project Planview Primavera or Jira
- Ensure data accuracy consistency and integrity across systems
- Support reporting automation and process improvements where applicable
Qualifications (Preferred) - Experience in project planning scheduling or PMO environments
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and governance practices
- Proficiency with tools such as MS Project Primavera Planview or Jira
- Experience with financial tracking forecasting and reporting
- Strong analytical communication and stakeholder management skills
