Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Bevel Operator / General Labourer to support daily plant operations. The ideal candidate will assist with beveling materials preparing orders and performing general labour tasks in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Review work orders and prepare materials for beveling
Operate mechanical bevel machines
Operate flame bevel machine (bug)
Read and interpret drawings and specifications
Clean and deburr materials
Prepare and package orders for shipment
Assist co-workers and other departments as needed
Support shipping and receiving operations
Operate forklifts and lifting devices when required
Complete required paperwork and documentation
Maintain cleanliness of plant (interior and exterior)
Follow all health and safety procedures and report hazards
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors

Requirements:

Previous experience in manufacturing or general labour
Experience operating bevel machines is an asset
Ability to read drawings/blueprints
Forklift experience is an asset
Physically fit and able to lift materials
Strong attention to detail and safety
Reliable and team-oriented

Working Conditions:

Manufacturing/plant environment
Exposure to noise dust and varying temperatures
PPE required and provided
Overtime may be required based on production needs
Shift: 7:00 AM 5:00 PM (overtime as required)
