Job Summary

Role - Lead Databricks Engineer

Location Charlotte NC

Duration - This is a 12 MONTH contract to hire role

LOCAL candidates only

Visa - USC GC

Role Overview:

External hire full-time based in (in-office required 3 days a week)
Oversee the existing DBA team (reporting updates to the Manager)
Provide technical guidance and introduce the DBA team to Databricks

Ideal Candidate:

Hands-on Databricks experience (senior developer level)
Knowledge of database technologies: Oracle PostgreSQL MySQL
AWS cloud experience
Some team lead/oversight experience (or aspiring to lead)
Financial services domain experience is a plus not mandatory
