About the Job

We are looking for a senior systems engineer - network to design build and maintain secure scalable high-performance network infrastructure. This role leads complex initiatives ensures reliability and partners with cross-functional teams to support enterprise cloud and hybrid environments.

What Youll Do

• Develop maintain and execute on disaster recovery / redundancy strategies.
• Subject Matter Expert of one or more technology Domains.
• Partnering with vendors and enterprise teams on emerging best practices patterns and technology.
• Proactively learn emerging platforms and related technology.
• Ability to solve complex technical issues and enable/teach peers to be self-sufficient.
• Establish and maintain best practices as it relates to compliance security privacy and legal requirements.
• Anticipate deviations from standard practices and find practical ways to move forward.
• Closely follow industry trends relevant to your domain and understand how to apply them to your work as appropriate.
• Break down complex problems into smaller more manageable ones and help others to do the same.
• Understand what tools are available and useful for your domain how they work and the sorts of situations and problems for which theyre useful.
• Use them effectively and teach them to your teammates.

What Youll Bring to the Hire

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
• 4-5 years professional experience.
• 5 years experience with at least one OS/hosting platform.
• 4 years experience with Cloud based PaaS and SaaS.
• platforms and integration points to On Prem infrastructure.
• 5 years experience with monitoring and performance management of systems.
• 5 years experience with Scripting development.
• 5 years experience with networking knowledge.
• 4 years experience with modern development and scripting languages.
• Experience with CICD concepts and tools branching strategies and leveraging knowledge to assist in delivering an infrastructure as a product.
• Experience with multiple delivery methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Deep expertise in enterprise network design implementation and operations
• Strong experience with routing switching firewalls and network security
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and drive technical decisions
• Experience supporting hybrid cloud network environments
• Excellent troubleshooting documentation and communication skills
• A proactive ownership-driven mindset with a focus on reliability and scalability
