The Precision Meso-scale Technology Center (PMTC) located on Keysight s campus in Santa Rosa CA exists to provide mechanical solutions that enable the capabilities of Keysight s industry leading electronic measurement equipment. As a machinist you will develop and sustain machining processes utilizing cutting edge machine tools such as Swiss Style Lathes 3 to 5 axis milling centers and multi-axis mill turn machines. Working closely with R&D on microwave applications you will influence designs for mechanical components and assemblies ensure design for manufacturability facilitate release and support production.
Keysight is looking for a highly motivated individual with desire to learn advanced machining skills. This position will require an Expert level Machinist with a knack for precision and detail. Must have the willingness to learn strong teamwork positive attitude dedication and job flexibility are a addition you will interface with Engineering Maintenance and Management as well as production Schedulers. You will have the opportunity to operate a variety of precision machining equipment.
Experience with any/all the following is highly desired:
3 to 5 axis milling
Swiss Style Lathe
Mill/Turn Machine Center
Advanced Metrology
CNC Programming/CAM Programming Software
CAD/Solid Modeling
Tool Grinding
Interpreting specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Education/Experience
May require some specialized training/certification or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be available to work swing shift
Pay Range:
USD $67030.00 - USD $111720.00 Year
