Inviting applications for the role of Tax Analyst-Assistant Manager- German- Remote EMEA/EU
As a Tax Analyst youll play an integral part within Genpact. Supporting the companys affiliates across numerous countries in Europe this role provides legal regulatory and tax compliance for multiple entities and focuses particularly on VAT CIT and Transfer Pricing analyses and preparation.

General Responsibilities
Preparation and analysis of VAT return on a monthly /bi-monthly/ quarterly basis
Provide Intrastat EU Sales reports (if required preparing additional country specify reports)
Ensure to be compliant with country specific rules and obligations meet the deadlines for all reports
Carry out VAT clearing postings; VAT liquidation process
Perform quarterly detailed account reconciliations Intrastat / EU sales reports reconciliations
Perform annual sales reconciliation where required
Support foreign VAT reclaim process
Follow up erroneous account receivable/ payable entries
Prepare transactions matrix and cash pool data for Transfer Pricing purposes
Prepare 4k testing for Transfer Pricing as required by German Tax Code
Prepare tax moving schedule
SOX controls for CIT
Prepare e-balance sheets for CIT
Interact with Business Tax Managers and Country Tax Leaders
Cooperate with other functions and provide support by answering tax related queries
Support Europe Tax team with other admin tax tasks for example set up supplies purchase orders in SAP

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent in finance related field
Written and verbal fluency in English (C1)
Working proficiency in German (B2 as a minimum upper intermediate knowledge)
Strong understanding of the European tax system especially VAT and corporate income taxation
Understanding of European Transfer Pricing principles
Strong analytical skills
Intermediate to advance excel knowledge
Good communication and influencing skills; easily adapt to changes

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a Global Business / Shared Service Center /Accounting Firm
Working experience on local and / or international VAT regulations
SAP system knowledge
