Heres how aField Coordinator for PCL Constructors Canada Inc. within Winnipeg contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Assists with updating drawings and specifications.
- Documents field records for quality production labor and materials.
- Assists with inventory and tracking time sheets costs and quantities.
- Prepares quantity takeoffs.
- Assists in monitoring the quality plan including conducting quality inspections deficiencies and issue management.
- Conducts basic safety inspections and training identifies and corrects safety hazards and leads by example in safety practices and procedures.
- Assists the project team with subtrade partner management including managing requests for information shop drawings changes and billings and workforce planning
- Assists with schedules and monitoring performance.
- Assists in creating construction sequence and work plans.
- Construction surveying and layout including as-built documentation.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with all stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or diploma in engineering construction management architecture trade or a related field.
- 1 year of progressive consrtruction experience.
- Ability to learn and apply basic construction principles specifications and procedures.
- Effective verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with stakeholders including supervisors and subtrade partners.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
- Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D AutoCAD and Revit considered an asset.
