Job Summary
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide in-person therapy services to students in a school-based setting. This role involves assessing diagnosing and treating speech language and communication disorders in a pediatric population.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students.
- Provide speech and language therapy services to children and young adults.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 30 students.
- Collaborate with teachers parents and school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and planning.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Day shift (7.5-hour shifts)
- Full-time schedule (approximately 37.5 hours per week)
- In-person role (no virtual option)
- Potential assignment across multiple school locations (no same-day travel required)
- Part-time candidates may be considered
Required Qualifications
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license (state-specific required at submission)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
