Position Summary
The RN Outpatient Float is responsible for delivering professional nursing care in an outpatient clinic setting ensuring effective coordination between patients providers and clinical staff. This role serves as a key liaison while supporting efficient clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established clinical standards
- Coordinate care between patients providers and healthcare team members
- Act as a primary communication liaison across clinical teams
- Assist providers during patient care and procedures
- Supervise and provide direction to support staff including:
- Collaborate with clinical managers coordinators and providers to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Maintain continuing education as required by state and federal regulations
Experience
- RN clinic experience preferred
- Open to candidates with less than 1 year of experience
Licensure & Certifications
- Active RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
