Senior Windows System Administrator

• Administer maintain and support Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
• Manage Active Directory Group Policy DNS DHCP and IIS.
• Design and support virtualized environments (VMware Hyper-V).
• Deploy manage and troubleshoot containerized applications using Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
• Automate system administration tasks using PowerShell and scripting tools.
• Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to support CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement and enforce security best practices patch management and compliance standards.
• Troubleshoot complex system network and application issues.
• Maintain system documentation procedures and configurations.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior administrators.

• 510 years of experience in Windows system administration
• Strong expertise in:
  • Windows Server administration
  • Active Directory & Group Policy
  • PowerShell scripting
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Kubernetes
  • Red Hat OpenShift
  • Virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere and/or Hyper-V)
• Experience with system monitoring tools and backup solutions.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP firewalls load balancing).
• Bachelors degree in computer science electronics engineering or related technical discipline and 5 years work experience.
• Eight (8) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education (13 years total).
• Ability to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation (Public Trust).

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform Ansible).
• Red Hat or Kubernetes certifications (e.g. CKA OpenShift Administrator).
