Job Summary
Profile:Accountant-Jewellery-Surat-3.6 LPA
Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience as an Accountant
- Mandatory experience in jewellery / bullion / gems industry
- Hands-on experience in:
- Jewellery stock handling
- Karigar (artisan) accounts
- High-value inventory tracking
- Familiarity with retail or wholesale jewellery operations preferred
Salary Range: 25k to 30k
Roles:
- Maintain accurate records of purchase sales and stock of jewellery items
- Handle daily accounting entries in Tally/ERP
- Manage gold and diamond inventory reconciliation
- Prepare and file GST returns and compliance documentation
- Monitor receivables payables and cash flow
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny
- Maintain karigar accounts and job work records
- Generate monthly financial reports and MIS
- Ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance
Qualification:
- Bachelors degree in:
- (Mandatory)
- / CA Inter (preferred but not mandatory)
- Certification in Tally / GST is an added advantage
