UAT Specialist (APIFocused | Agile Delivery)

My client is looking for a UAT Specialist who enjoys working close to the code without being a developer.
This role is ideal for someone who loves understanding how systems talk to each other.

My client operates in a complex hightransaction technology environment and is seeking a UAT Specialist who thrives in Agile teams and enjoys validating systems endtoend.

This role sits at the intersection of business QA and technology. The successful candidate will take ownership of UAT strategy and execution working closely with developers product owners and stakeholders to ensure solutions are productionready.
A strong focus of this role is APIdriven systems. Youll be validating integrations between services verifying data integrity across platforms and ensuring business rules are correctly implemented from backend to UI.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 3 years experience in a UAT or software testing environment
Strong experience testing APIbased systems (REST / service integrations)
Ability to validate systemtosystem interactions and data accuracy across platforms
Experience creating and executing manual test cases linked to user stories and business rules
Confident defect logging and tracking using tools such as Jira Quality Center or similar
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments (Waterfall exposure beneficial)
Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
Comfortable working with technical and nontechnical stakeholders

Qualification:
BSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
ISTQB / Certified Test Analyst (advantageous not mandatory)
