What youll build

Position title: Thesis Student (f/m/d) Signavio Blue Sky Research
Work Area: Software-Research
Location: Walldorf
Expected start date: June 1st 2026

In this role youll:

• Conceptualize an approach for Text-to-DMN extraction. Build pipeline to extract decision models from natural language descriptions and evaluate the pipeline comparing different language models for this task on suitable evaluation data.
• Document implementation and results.
• Identify integration options of your work with the SAP Signavio product portfolio
• Exchange of knowledge and ideas around your research topics with product management and engineering.

What you bring

You are a Master student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. Were looking for someone who takes the initiative perseveres and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Proven expertise (courses taken) in the relevant research area (business process management)
