Job Summary
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
OperationalLeadership & Strategy
- Establish and lead the nationalgo-to-market and ongoing program managementstrategy forMSK VBCprograms ensuring alignment with organizational performanceobjectivespayor engagements and population health goals.
- Guide enterpriseoperationsinitiatives focused on improvingnetwork engagement patientengagementproviderand member experienceandVBC program performance.
- Mentor Network Management teamsacross all markets.
Oversight ofProject Management
- Directly supervise and mentorDirector VBC Project Management
- Establish consistentoperational processesperformance expectations and accountability standards across regions.
- Oversee processes for network accreditation with national agencies like URAC
- Oversee development of presentation materials forinternal meetings with Executive Leadership and the Board
Provider Engagement & Education
- Work with Vice President-VBC Network Management Vice President-VBC Care ManagementMedicalDirectorsand VBC CMOto develop and implement processes to support provider engagementandperformance improvement.
- Ensure coordinatedexecutionofnational network development and managementthroughwork with Vice President-VBC Network Management and VBC CMO.
Data-Driven Improvement
- Working withVBCleadership teamoverseereview ofkey performance metricsand reporting requirementsfor all stakeholdersacross all value-based programs.
- Partner withmedical economicsnetwork managementclinical operationsand medical directorteams toidentifyopportunities for performance improvement and translate insights into operational actions.
- Enhance the development of leading indicators and data insights critical to proactively manage performance across markets
- Direct enterprise performance improvement initiatives designed to enhance quality metrics outcomes and contract performance.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- ProvideVBC and operationalexpertisesupportin payer employer andotherclient-facing engagements.
- Supportvalue-basedcontract development negotiations and performance reviews withsubject matterexpertise.
- Communicateoperationalstrategies performance and improvement initiatives to executive stakeholdersand clients
Governance & Compliance
- Work withHOPCoLegal VBC CMO Medical Directors and Clinical Operations teams to supportcompliance with regulatory requirements accreditation standards and organizational policies across all markets.
- Promote a culture of accountabilityandcontinuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION
- BachelorsDegreepreferred
- MHA preferred
EXPERIENCE
- Minimumtenyears ofdirect experience with consistently increasing scope and scale of responsibility in healthcare consultingvalue-basedcare program management and operations.
- Experience working with and influencing large groups of providersin performance enhancement strategies
KNOWLEDGE
- Extensive knowledge ofvalue-basedcare programsquality improvement philosophymodelsand processes within a healthcare organization.
- Knowledge of quality management health information technology andthe use of data to drivephysician performance and practice efficiency
- Deep understandingofâVBC reimbursement modelsâ(populationhealth risk-based models sharedsavingsepisodes of care andcapitation).
- Knowledge of qualityfinancialand operationalmetricsfor program success
- Knowledge of clinical care processes.
- Knowledge ofprogram operationsperformanceandqualityimprovementinitiatives andhow to develop and implement strategic plans across avalue-basedcare network.
- Proficiencyof knowledge in health informatics and population health management

- Executive-level leadership skills withdemonstratedability to influence physicians and multidisciplinary teams across complex organizations.
- Strong analytical and data-interpretation skills withabilityto translate insights into clinical performance strategies.

- Skill in communicating effectively with all stakeholders across the medicalecosystemincluding but not limited to physicians healthcare administrators/systemsand insurers.
