Job Summary
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
Minimum of 57 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance
At least 23 years in a supervisory or managerial role
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial
reporting standards
Proven experience in budget preparation financial forecasting and analysis
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and SAP
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Solid understanding of tax regulations compliance and reporting requirements
Leadership and Soft Skills:
Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage mentor and develop a
team
Strong analytical critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present
financial data to non-financial stakeholders
Ability to prioritize tasks manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a manufacturing or construction-related industry
Familiarity with international accounting standards and multi-currency transactions
Proven track record in improving financial processes and implementing internal
control
